Childcare:

Dunwoody does not provide an on-campus daycare for students with children, however, listed below are a few resources that my help in your search for childcare options near your home and school.

 

  • Greater Minneapolis Day Care Association- an agency located in Minneapolis that refers parents to different childcare opportunities within Carver, Dakota, Hennepin and Scott counties.    For more information or to contact GMDCA call 612-641-1177.
     

  • La Petite Academy! Visit www.lapetite.com to find the nearest location near your workplace or Dunwoody.
     

  • More Daycare- "where working parents find childcare".  Check out this new website for the twin cities at www.moredaycare.com
     

  • Kids Dominion Program- "Mixing love & Education together"... For more information on this pre-school and for an application, please call 612-331-1012 and ask for Linda Thibodeaux
     

  • 3R's Child Care Center- 4666 85th Ave. N. Brooklyn Park.  Phone 763-315-5006.  Please view website at www.3rcdc.org for more information. Additionally, please stop by Emilie Nimmo's desk to view informational packets.

Eldercare:

The following is a list of resources one might use to find eldercare options within the Twin Cities.

  • Caregiver MN: This is a non-profit agency that serves the senior population and their families.  Such resources provided include Caregiving Basics, Housing Alternatives and Medical/Health Issues.  Another resource on this website is the Online Advisor which gives you the opportunity to ask questions and receive feedback unique to your situation.
     

  • Eldercare Partners: Partnered with five non-profit organizations within the Twin Cities, Eldercare Partners provides the elderly and their families with care services and other useful information.  As an additional resource, this site also lists other Links and Services that may be beneficial.
